Royal Restorations was called on by a local property manager to assist with a water loss at a large single family residence in Dumfries, VA.
When Royal Restoration arrived, technicians immediately began to extract the excessive amount of water which was in every single room on all the floors. Royal Restoration’s team disposed of any unsalvageable items. The equipment was set-up immediately after. The list of equipment used included 2 sets of injectdry floor drying systems, about 80 air movers, and multiple dehumidifiers with integrated HEPA filtration systems. This extensive list of equipment sped up the process of removing moisture out of the air and saturated materials.
Once the structural materials were dried out to the standard of of IICRC, the equipment was then removed and the residence was now ready for the reconstruction phase. Royal Restoration’s experienced construction team was able to finish the repair work on all affected floors in less than 3 weeks.

The water extraction was completed first to prevent further damages. Royal Restoration’s IICRC certified team then continued their work towards gathering accurate moisture assessments. This work included analyzing data from hygrometer readings of both affected and unaffected spaces and comparing them to determine the best course of action for drying out the residence.
